At Gray Ghost Plantation we want
your hunt to be exactly that, "Your Hunt".
To make sure this happens, we only hunt a maximum of
eight hunters on 1100 acres. You will receive a "checklist"
with the items you need to bring and some others you
may not want to bring. We will also provide you with
a property map to better familiarize your self with
the property you will be hunting. All of are hunts are
semi-guided unless requested by the particular individual.
Most of our whitetail
deer hunts are four day hunts. We start
out with giving you a tour of the land and show you
some stand locations. Mainly you will see the overall
layout of the land you will be hunting. We will show
you the prime areas of activity at the time, if you
would like to bring and set your own stands that is
ok with us and is recomended but the final decision
on where you hunt is going to be made by you. Remember
this is "Your Hunt". You will be hunting on
your own. We will always be there to assist in tracking
and retrieval, but the choice were you would like to
hunt is up to you. We will meet with you every morning
and evening to make sure that everybody is getting to
where they want to be, and help you have a successful
hunt in any way we can. Our hunts are semi-guided however
we will assist in any way possible to make it a great
hunt.
